Beloved wife of John P. Capellupo, dear mother of Mark, Mona (Andrew) Sandroni, Michael (Elaine), Matt (Kelli), and Kevin (Desiree) Capellupo, dear mother-in-law, dear grandmother of Megan (Pierce), Julie, Philip, Annika, Moss, Kate (Chris), John, Sarah (Chad), Robin, Martin (Erin), Nick, Elli, Caroline, Jake, Lainey, and Cooper, and dear great-grandmother of eleven.

Mary Ann was a founding member of the Friends of the Rural Parish Workers and a board member of Our Lady’s Inn.  She was an active member of her parish community at St. Catherine Laboure.  Mary Ann was extremely generous with her time and treasure to multiple charitable organizations.

Services:  Private funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 10 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 9740 Sappington Rd.  at 11 a.m.  Mass will be livestreamed at https://sclparish.org. Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady’s Inn, Friends of the Rural Parish Workers, or Today and Tomorrow Foundation appreciated.

    Uncle John, Mark, Mona, Michael, Matthew & Kevin, I am so sorry about Aunt Mary Ann. I have great memories of her when we were children. I was able to watch the mass today and I wish we could have brought my Mom, Carolyn. You all are in my thoughts and prayers, she was an incredible woman.

    John and family – I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Mary Ann, my heart is broken. She was the the rock of the Capellupo family. I remember her wonderful smile, her laugh, and her kind and caring support of others. She will be missed by so many. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers. Peace, healing and comfort to all of you.

    Deepest sympathy to all the Cappelupos. May your sorrow be tempered by all the wonderful memories you share.
    We first met your wonderful Mary Ann through her generosity to grandson John’s boy scout troop and thereafter enjoyed her friendly and welcoming smiles and waves at Mass. That boyancy and kindness was so uplifting. It seemed as if she was constantly sowing seeds of charity wherever she went…so blessed to have met her.

    Dear John & Family, Jim and I were so very sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s struggle with Covid and her passing, but want you all to know that we will continue praying for her & all of your family at this very sad & difficult time.     I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Mary Ann. I will always remember the McDonnell Douglas events she was at with John when I was in Customer Relations. She is a memorable lady. I was especially grateful when she reached out to me when I had breast cancer. She gave me hope during that difficult time. She is a true angel to many. My prayer and thoughts are with John and the entire family during this very sad time. I know how hard it is to lose your mom but she is always with you.

    John, Mark, Mona, Mike, Matt & Kevin: My head and heart are still reeling from this news. Mary Ann was the kindest and most selfless person I’ve ever met (as well as being a little spitfire). If anyone has a straight ticket to heaven, it’s her! I’m sure you’re all devastated but know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Please hug each other for me. I so wish I could be there Thursday but I will be with you in spirit. Take care of yourselves and John.
