Pauline Kumpis, 99 of Chesterfield, Missouri, born May 23, 1923 in Sioux City, Iowa passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Pauline graduated from Central High School in 1941.

After the War, Pauline met her husband George at church. He was visiting cousins that had just moved to Sioux City. Their first date was to the movies. They got married on October 26, 1947 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. They settled in St. Louis, MO.

She was the pillar to our family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was kind, loving, patient, always smiling, always put others first and a servant to the Lord.

Kumpis, dear mother of Harry (Kathy) Kumpis of Fountain Valley, CA, Dean Kumpis of Chesterfield, MO, Aristotle Kumpis (Debra Fowler) of Dardenne Prairie, MO, and Tom Kumpis of Maryland Heights, MO, dear daughter of the late Constantine Katres and Jennie Katres (nee Kelepouris), dear grandmother of Nick (Monique) Kumpis of Huntington Beach, CA, Karen Kumpis (Derek) Shay of Koloa, HI, Amy Kumpis (Steven) Maak of Glendale, AZ, Aristotle Kumpis of Lake Forest, CA, and George (Kari) Kumpis of Honolulu, HI, dear sister of the late Mary, Helen, Stanley, George, and Jim, dear great grandmother of Chloe and Henry Kumpis, Koa and Alex Shay, Logan and Morgan Maak, and Mateo Kumpis, and dear aunt of Roberta Katres Irion of Cape Coral, FL.

Services:  Visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, December 8 at New Beginnings Church, 202 Fee Fee Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.  Visitation at 10:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 11:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Billy Graham Ministries appreciated.
