Joseph John Welsch
Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Joseph John Welsch entered eternal life on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Born on October 15, 1957, Joe was adopted by his loving parents John J. Welsch and Dorothea E. (nee Devitt) Welsch who both preceded him in death. Joe was a proud alumnus of St. Ann grade school in Normandy, and DeSmet Jesuit High School (Class of 1976). A passionate sports fan, Joe never missed a local team score, especially that of his beloved Spartans.
Services: A memorial service will be celebrated for Joe on Saturday, January 20 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7530 Natural Bridge Road, Normandy, MO 63121 at 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing to honor Joe’s life are encouraged to make donations in his name to DeSmet Jesuit High School, 223 N. New Ballas Rd. St. Louis, MO 63141.
