Thomas Andrew Handley
Tom, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023, in Peachtree City, Georgia. He was born on August 10, 1930, in Webster Groves, Missouri. Tom’s age at the time of his passing was 93 years old. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Handley.
Tom retired from the United States Air Force where he proudly served as a JAG Officer. He served as General Counsel for the Civil Air Patrol in Washington, D.C. for 20 years before retiring and moving to Lake Martin, Alabama.
Tom’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His genuine kindness, his caring nature, and his unwavering love will forever be cherished. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the countless lives he touched.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Handley; son, Tom Handley, Jr.; grandchildren, Thomas Handley, Mary Ellen Handley, Sarah Handley, Harrison Ohmsieder, Caroline Ohmsieder, and Kate Ohmsieder; and great-grandson, Otto.
Services: Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 13 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 5239 West Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63115 at 10 a.m. Please meet at the cemetery entrance.
