Charles Brazell May 9, 1946 - August 11, 2024

Charles Walter Brazell

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sun., Aug. 11, 2024, dear father of Bob Brazell and Scott Brazell, brother of Ted Brazell and the late Linda Jones, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Charlie graduated from St. Louis University.  His plans to enter law school were sidelined due to his being drafted into the Vietnam War.  Charlie was employed at Anheuser-Busch for many years until he retired due to disability.  An avid sports fan, he participated in many sports activities.  Charlie was a proud family man.  He spoke proudly of his father, a World War II hero, his brother Ted who was drafted into the professional baseball minor leagues, and his lovely sister Linda who was always there for him.  Charlie spoke often of his sons, Bobby, for his culinary skills and Scott for his many abilities including speaking Chinese.  Charlie’s later years were fraught with many disabilities, but he amazingly never lost his cheerful disposition and was always eager to assist anyone in need.  He was a kind caring man who will be missed by many.

Services:  Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Fri., Aug. 16 at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 6596 Smiley Ave. Rd.  Visitation at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10 a.m.  Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
