Robert Joseph “Bob” Eilerman

Bob was born May 7, 1932, and passed away October 18. 2024. He was preceded in death by parents Harry and Anna (Blechle) Eilerman.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Audrey Gertrude (Kraemer) Eilerman, sons Gregory (Mary Beth) and Bradley (Ruth) Eilerman, 4 grandchildren Gregory Jr. (Ashley), David (Claire), Joseph, and Robert Eilerman, 3 great-grandchildren Evelyn, Molly, and Johnny Eilerman.

Robert graduated from CBC High School in 1950 and received a degree from St. Louis University.  Robert enlisted in the Army for two years, where he saw combat in Korea.  He worked for the General Accounting Office most of his career.  Upon retirement, Robert and Audrey embarked on his lifelong dream of horse racing.  He bought, trained, and drove harness racing horses.  They enjoyed this passion for about 30 years.  For the last several years Robert has enjoyed discovering his family history through extensive research.  He also took great pleasure in attending his grandsons’ various sporting events.

Services:  A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Dr., Fenton, MO 63026 at 10 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Masses be said in Robert Eilerman’s memory, or donate to a charity of your choice.
