Dorothea Ursula Bruschke
(nee Brendler) 94, beloved wife of the late Heinrich Bruschke, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2025. She is survived by nieces & nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews in Germany, and many friends & colleagues.
She was active in many professional organizations and she co-authored German textbooks. Mrs. Bruschke served as Foreign Language Coordinator in the Parkway School District after teaching German in Maplewood-Richmond Heights and Washington University. In true concern for teaching her students, she donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Aberdeen Heights Community, 575 Couch Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63122 where the Bruschkes were among the first residents when it opened.
