Alex Stafford February 1, 1977 - January 24, 2023

James Alexander Stafford
James ‘Alex’ Stafford passed away at his home on January 24, 2023 after a 5-year battle with GIST cancer at age 45. He was a devoted husband and father and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Renee; daughter, Kylie; father, James Stafford; mother, Mary Stafford; and also a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Alex was a proud member of the 501st, a charity group ran by volunteers with 2 passions: Star Wars and bringing smiles to others faces. He founded Sabers4Hope while battling his own cancer because he wanted to give kids with cancer a brief moment where they forget about their own. He had a truly caring heart and will be greatly missed.

One of the best men I know. We worked together at Charter. He was always cheerful, hardworking, smart, and loved his family. When I met him, he was working on his degree and seeking to better himself and provide for his family. Paths took us in different directions across different states, but I call him my friend.
