Cecilia Geringer October 2, 1936 - October 22, 2024

Cecilia Marie Geringer

(nee Gruenloh) Went to be with the Lord at the age of 88 on October 22, 2024.  She was the first born of seven children on October 2, 1936 to the late Clement and Rosalie Gruenloh.  As a parishioner for many years at St. Richard Catholic Church, she was always ready to volunteer and was a lifelong member of “Club” (a group of friends from high school) who still got together.  She was faithfully devoted to God and family and treasured lifelong friends.  Ceil is preceded in death by her parents, sister Alice Kloda and brother Ralph Gruenloh.  She is survived by her children Mary Geringer, Michael (Cathy) Geringer, and Karen Winkler; her grandchildren Michelle (Tyler) Geringer-Korn, Alexandra (Cameron) Geringer-Pate, John Geringer, Elizabeth Geringer, and Angela Winkler; great grandchildren Scarlett and Sophia Geringer; brothers Edward, Cyril (Denelle), Clement, Jr, and sister Rita Brown.

Services:  A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 16, at St. Richard Catholic Church, 11223 Schuetz Road, St. Louis, MO 63146 at 10 a.m.  We will gather after Mass at St. Richard to share memories and a light brunch.  Internment at Sacred Heart Cemetery will be held at a later date.
