Coletta Thomson January 1, 1930 - October 8, 2024

Coletta M. Thomson

Coletta M. Thomson, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, October 8th, surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved mother of Nancy, Susan (Jerry), Diane (Jim), and Eileen, cherished grandmother of Zachary (Michelle), Alexandra and Paige. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Chelsea and Ethan Bullock.

Coletta’s smile was as sweet as her soul, lighting up every room she entered and warming the hearts of everyone around her. She had a unique ability to make people feel included and special, welcoming all with open arms and a kind heart. When she spoke to you, it felt as though you were the only person in the world, a testament to her genuine love and warmth.

Her life was a rich tapestry of creativity and compassion. As the owner of a floral arrangement shop, Coletta shared her artistic gift with her community, turning flowers into expressions of beauty and care. Her love for nature extended beyond her shop, as she lovingly fostered and raised different breeds of dogs and, in true Coletta fashion, even a raccoon that she raised with the same care she showed everything and everyone in her life.

Coletta was not only the matriarch of her family but its heart, her legacy woven into every flower that blooms and every life she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a guiding light in the lives of those who loved her. Her lessons of love, inclusion, and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us all.

Her memory will forever bloom in our hearts.
