Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, at St. Louis, the age of 86, Wednesday, May 8, 2024,  Dear husband of Suzanne Roth (nee Rainville); dear father of Christopher (Annie) Roth, Suzanne (John) Rackers, Andrew Roth and Stephen Roth; dear son of the late Mary Rolwing Roth and the late Raymond Francis Roth, Sr.; dear grandfather aka “Grumpy” of Michael Rackers and Alex Rackers; dear brother of Martha Jeanne (the late Bill) Weismantel and the late Raymond F. (the late Jane) Roth, Jr.; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.

Dave was a born and bred St. Louisan who graduated Our Lady of Lourdes grade school, St. Louis University High class of 1955, and St. Louis University with an undergraduate degree in Liberal arts in 1959. He obtained a Masters in City Planning from Columbia University, New York, in 1963 and a law degree from St. Louis University in 1974. He had a 50 year career as a real estate appraiser, professor of urban planning at various local colleges and a published author.
Dave was passionate about golf, traveling, fishing and hunting, Michigan summers, all dogs, chocolate ice cream, architecture, and mostly about friends-he knew everyone and everybody and especially  loved to have a beer with his lifelong friends.
Services:  Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 676 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119.  Visitation at 10:00 a.m. with the Mass got follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment St. Peter Cemetery in Kirkwood.  In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Louis University High School, 4970 Oakland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110 or a charity of your choice appreciated.
