Dixie Arlene Cotton

Dixie, age 35, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 29th, 2023.

Dixie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Bob Bosarge, her grandmother, Toni Bosarge, her father, Alex Balkcom, her mother, Scarlett Barkley, her step father, Hal Barkley, and her infant son, Brodey Maddox Doggett.

She is survived by the father of her three children, Brandon Cotton; her children, Braelynn Cotton, Brentley Cotton, and Bransyn Cotton; her siblings, Andy Barkley (Lisa), Christopher Barkley, and Cassandra Barkley. She is also survived by her loving Paw Paw, Terry Jones Sr., numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and many close Friends.

Dixie was a devoted mother, sister, and friend, and will be greatly missed.

Services:  The “Mardi Gras” themed Celebration of Life for Dixie will be held on Saturday, January 6th, from 12-2 pm at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center.
