Beloved husband of the late Mary Janet Albrecht (nee Moore); dear father of Anne Sherrod, Paul (Liz) Albrecht, Maria Albrecht, and the late Elizabeth Gerard; dear grandfather of Megan (Jeremy) Anderson, Melissa Sherrod, Grant Sherrod, Nicholas Albrecht, Grace Albrecht; Andrew Canupp, Caitlin Canupp, Alex Canupp, dear great-grandfather of Jackson, Saylor, Francis, Camden, Ava, and Isabella.
Robert was a friend to many. He was happily married for 62 years. He was a devoted family man and devout to his faith. He enlisted in the Marines and received an Honorable Discharge. He served as the President of the Order of Carmel Discalced Secular Community (OCDS) for several years.
Services: Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 12th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 106 North Meramec Avenue, Clayton, Missouri 63105. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.

He had a seriousness about him yet he had that charming grin and twinkle in his eye! I will always remember that about him! That, and his devotion to St. Teresa Benedicta… I’m sure she was front in line to welcome him home!
