Rosalyn Marie Brady November 8, 1928 - December 6, 2017

Rosalyn Marie Brady (née Rechtien) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Wed., Dec 6, 2017. Rose was born November 8, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to August and Virginia (Wilson) Rechtien. She graduated Nerinx High School and attended Fontbonne College. Rose was a stewardess for American Airlines when she met the love of her life and future husband James A. Brady. They were married on May 23, 1953. Together they raised six children and touched many lives. She was active in St. Michael’s parish and a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Beloved wife of James A. Brady for 64 years, dear mother of James Jr., Sharon (Les) Goeman, Susan, Peter (Donna), Glenn (Sharon), and Kelly (Mike) Shillito, dear grandmother of eleven, dear sister of the late Jean Rechtien Carmody and Richard Rechtien, dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

Services: Visitation and funeral mass will be held Fri., Jan 5, 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church 7622 Sutherland Ave. Visitation at 10 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
