Beloved husband of Joan Dickhaus Burtelow for 67 years, loving father of Lucy (Jerry), Betsy (Jim), Polly (John), Anne (Bob), Michael, and the late Matthew grandfather of 9, great-grandfather of 8, also survived by siblings Rosemarie (Vic), Patty, Jim (Claudia), Jack (Ann), Kathy (Larry), and Bob (Liz).
