Mary Janet Albrecht June 20, 1935 - June 21, 2018

Mary Janet Albrecht

(neeMoore) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church at St. Louis, MO Thursday, June 21, 2018.  Beloved wife of Robert Albrecht; dear mother of Anne Sherrod, Paul (Liz) Albrecht, Maria Albrecht, and the late Elizabeth Gerard; dear daughter of the late Francis and Eleanor Moore; dear grandmother of Megan (Jeremy) Anderson, Melissa Sherrod, Grant Sherrod, Andrew Canupp, Caitlin Canupp, Alex Canupp, Nick Albrecht, and Grace Albrecht; dear sister of Pat (the late John) Meara and the late Kay (Earl) Hess; dear great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.

Janet was a beautiful faith-filled woman who loved her family above all else.  She was a devoted wife to Bob for 62 years.  Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joys.
Among Janet’s many talents were sewing, gardening and cooking.  She loved being outdoors.  She and Bob loved to sit on their back patio at Lafon where they welcomed the company of family, friends and neighbors.
A selfless woman, Janet loved to volunteer at church and the hospital.  She welcomed everyone into her heart and shared herself with everyone she met.  Janet is loved more than words can say.
