Milton Ploudre October 17, 1940 - June 19, 2018

Milton Francis Ploudre

Milton F. Ploudre, age 77, died on Tuesday, June 19that Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.  He was born in St. Louis to Milton T. and Catherine (nee O’Leary) Ploudre.  Milton contracted the polio virus at a young age but never let it affect his zest for life. A graduate of the engineering school at St. Louis University, he worked briefly at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company before a long career with the United States Army Aviation Systems Command (AVSCOM).  Even with his disability, sports always played a big role in his life. Throughout the 60s and 70s Milton was a member of the St. Louis Rolling Rams professional wheelchair basketball team. He was also known for the passion he displayed coaching youth baseball and soccer teams at St. Norbert’s parish in Florissant, MO from the mid-70s thru early 80s.  His kindness and generosity will be missed by all that knew him.

Milton was the beloved husband of Patricia Ploudre (nee Allison); dear father of Stephen Ploudre and Lori Ploudre.
