Gloria Marie Jones
nee Lucchesi, at the age of 92, Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Jones; loving mother of Theresa Rice (Andrew) and Lisa Jones; loving grandmother of Abby Rice and Matthew Rice; dear sister of Lionel L. Lucchesi (Mary Ann) and the late Dolores Gaia (Bernard); dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Our family is forever grateful to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George, the staff, and volunteers at Mother of Good Counsel Home. Their loving devotion to their residents was truly a blessing and comfort to our family over the past two years.
Services: Visitation and funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7530 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, MO 63121. Visitation will be at the church at 10 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Internment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mother of Good Counsel Home, 6825 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, MO 63121.
