Ann Griesedieck July 22, 1961 - January 18, 2023

Ann Sullivan Griesedieck

passed away on January 18, 2023, due to complications associated with a long battle with cancer.  She touched many in her life and is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Ed, and their children Theresa (28), Edward, IV (26) and Margaret (21); her mother JoAnn Sullivan, brothers Michael (Rosie), Dan (Katie) and John (Michelle); and her sisters-in-law Caty (Bill) Beggs and Sarah (Doug) Buckley.

Ann had a wonderful, full, and varied life and was blessed with many talents, goals, faith, and friends.  She was an Ole Miss Rebel graduate and went on to a very successful career in sales for Ralston Purina and Foxmeyer Medical Sales.  She excelled and was routinely a top sales representative at both entities.  Following that career, she developed and was president of a local jewelry and accessory sales company. She was engaged in a myriad of social, philanthropic, and religious organizations; was the first female President of a Country Club west of the Mississippi; a board member of multiple educational and religious institutions; avid work-out fanatic; movie trivia savant; political junkie; tremendous cook and possessed the quickest wit we have ever known.

Ann married the love of her life and they were each other’s favorite person for over 35 years.  Her greatest achievement, however, was, and is, her three children: Tess, Eddie and Mollie.  Of them, she is most proud.  They are each a slice of their mother and, through them, Ann will live on with us all.

Services:  A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 530 S. Mason Rd. at 12 Noon.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, we would most appreciate if you would forward a short note of one of your favorite memories of Ann (antesedmo@aol.com). Thank you.
