Bonnie Dickhens-Layton (nee Pierce) was called to Eternal Life on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Dear wife of the late David J. Dickhens and the late Louis J. Layton.  Beloved mother of Monica and Jeff Dickhens.  Dear sister of the late Suzanne M. (the late James P.) Felder.  Beautiful Aunt Bonnie to Danny, Blaise (Kathy), Peter, Jimmy, Claire, Eric Felder, and Andrea (Danny) Williams.  Loving great-aunt, cousin, and dear friend to so many.

Daughter of the late William Alan and Elsie (Koob) Pierce.  Former parishioner of St. Engelbert’s parish, St. Casimir’s Parish, and graduate of Incarnate Word Academy.

Musician, dancer, singer, basketball player, artist, decorator, ice skater, knitter, and in recent years football fan.  These were her outward gifts and interests, but her Catholic faith and devotion to Our Mother Mary were apparent in her empathy, compassion, and deep friendship for others.

Services:  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 7534 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, MO 63121.  Bonnie was a donor to Saint Louis University’s Gift Body program.  Contributions in memory of Bonnie may be made to Incarnate Word Academy, 2788 Normandy Drive, St. Louis, MO 63121, or The Core Collective at St. Vincent, 7401 Florissant Road, St. Louis, MO 63121.
