So sorry for your loss of your loving fun mother. Sorry that just found out your sad news on Easter so I missed her funeral Mass. Missed it with was not time for a PD Sunday paper announcement. Ironic since Carol such a warm and great hostess had gatherings after others’ funerals.
I last lunched with your wonderful mother the Christmas before the Pandemic when she was so worried that her move to her new community would prevent her from seeing friends in her old neighborhood and weekly at the Wednesday Club. She was a magnet for a fun lunch table. I cherish happy memories of great parties your parents gave in the 1960s and 1970s. Her volunteer work at the cathedral, and gatherings when Patrick and I served on Regional Arts Commission provided more glowing occasions.
