Evelyn Isabel Ellis
(nee Ziemann) 86, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Clarendale Memory Care in St. Peters, Missouri. Evelyn was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 14, 1938 to Fred and Katherine Ziemann (nee Schantz). Evelyn had been a long-time member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Weldon Spring, Missouri.
Evelyn leaves behind her two daughters, Kathleen (Mark) Unger and Terry (Rooney) Thomas, grandchildren Tim (Monica) Unger, Kelly (John) Brenner, and Sydney Thomas, great-grandchildren Logan, Lucas, and Hannah Unger, Kenna and Brock Brenner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ellis, infant daughter, Karen, parents Fred and Katie, brother, Earl Ziemann, and grandson, Ryan Unger.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5911 South Highway 94, Weldon Spring, MO 63304 at 11:00 a.m. Family requests any donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Clarendale Memory Care, St. Peters, Missouri.
