Gabriel Akinyinka Vidal

Gabriel Akinyinka Vidal is the second child of Omobolaji Nicholas Vidal and DeNay A. Vidal. He was born on September 7th, 2023. His first name, Gabriel, is Hebrew for “God is my strength.” His middle name, Akinyinka, is Yoruba (Nigerian) for “surrounded by warriors.” He is named after his paternal grandfather, Olayinka, which means “surrounded by prestige and wealth.”

Before Gabriel’s death, he was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by Chaplin Augustine of St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Sadly, Gabriel only lived for about seven hours before he passed.

He is survived by his older sister: Genesis A. Vidal, his father: Omobolaji Nicholas Vidal, his mother: DeNay A. Vidal, his paternal grandfather: Victor Olayinka Vidal: his paternal grandmother: Rita G. Vidal, his maternal grandfather: Victor W. Burns, and maternal grandmother: Marilyn Goodrich-Sykes.

Services:  A memorial service is scheduled for 5:00pm on September 19th at Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, 9124 Sappington Rd, St. Louis, MO 63126.

A burial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on September 20th, at St. Trinity Cemetery 2160 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125.

A memorial service is scheduled for 5:00pm on September 19th at Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, 9124 Sappington Rd, St. Louis, MO 63126.

A burial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on September 20th, at St. Trinity Cemetery 2160 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125.
