Gayle Fields

(nee Glasener) arrived at her heavenly home at the age of 95 on Thursday, October 27, 2022.  She fought a courageous battle against metastatic breast cancer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Fields, Sr. and her son Louis Fields, Jr.  She is survived by her daughters Brenda (Charlie) Rodi, Kathleen (Chester) Murphy, sister Eunice (Tom) Murphy, brother Wilkie (Mary) Glasener, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She worked as a secretary for many years, but found her true calling as a real estate agent for Gundaker Realty.  She was friendly and approachable to anyone and everyone.  No one was a stranger, just a friend she hadn’t spoken to yet.

She was devoted to her family and her church.  The matriarch of the family, she loved a gathering with as many of family members as possible.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church for 67 years and would volunteer for any job.

Her smile, laugh, vivacious personality and love for others will be missed.
