December 28, 2025 at 1:49 pmI only recently learned that John “Jack” passed away. As a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Luke the Evangelist parish for over 25 years, John served the neighbors in need, happily making home visits during the day, delivering food and food vouchers soon after the calls for help came in. After John stepped down to become a full-time care giver for his sister, house visits were made by me and others mostly on Monday nights. John was missed by the St. Vincent de Paul Society when he needed to step down. He was a good man.
