James Sims January 27, 1930 - March 15, 2023

At Rest with God at the age of 93 on Wednesday, March 15 2023.  Beloved husband of the late Reita Mae Sims (nee McSpadden), father of Rebecca Lynne Sims, Barbara Ann Holland (Jeff), Talmadge Malcom Sims (Kim), Norma Jean Foster (John), dear son of the late Riley Sims and Sylvia Sims (nee Jernigan), dear grandfather of James Cecil Martin III (Emily), Megan Marie Tedeschi (Stephen), Brandi Lynne Moster (Wes), Kelli Anne Carlin (Erron), Rachel Nicole Foster, Traci Leigh Mobbs (Ryan), Brandon Lewis Foster (Torri), dear great-grandfather of James Cecil Martin IV, Colton Anthony Tedeschi, Remington Marie Tedeschi, Connor Scott Martin, Camden Tate Moster, Carter James Moster, Everrett Hugh Carlin, Cade Wesley Moster, brother of the late Paul Sims (Lucille), Ray Sims (Mary), Howard Sims, Gene Sims (Fran), Lowell Sims (Maxine), Orene Kreider (Richard) and Norene Sims, dear uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Services:  Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 20, 2023 at St. Peters Church of Christ 7430 Mexico Road St Peters, MO 63376.  Visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Funeral Service 12:00 – 12:30 PM, Interment 1:30 PM Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 2900 Sheridan Road, St Louis, MO 63125.  In lieu of flowers please send contribution to Paragould Children’s Home 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould AR 72450.
