Beloved husband of 59 years to Maureen (nee Nash), dear father of Tim (Karen) Baudendistel, Maura (Christopher) Johann, Tom (Lisa Kinoshita) Baudendistel, dear grandfather of Daniel, Julie, Meghan, Kai and Miya Baudendistel and Patrick, Kaitlyn, and Sean Johann, dear brother of Arlene Cohen and the late Richard Baudendistel, dear uncle to twenty-one nieces and nephews, and dear friend to many.

Born in St. Louis, Jack graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in 1956. He majored in Industrial Engineering at St. Louis University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. Jack served as a Lieutenant in the Air Force and in many capacities as a parishioner at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church. Jack was passionately devoted to God and family. He loved bridge, golf, travel, helping others, and being with his many friends.

Services:  Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 29 at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, 1971 Dougherty Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63122.  Visitation at 10 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11 a.m.  Mass will be livestreamed on the St. Gerard Majella YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBCLzhlWWOlm4ixoIOUj-Gg  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to: St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1310 Papin St., St. Louis, MO 63103; Peter and Paul Community Services, 2612 Wyoming St., St. Louis, MO 63118; Caritas Connections, Inc., PO Box 31072, St. Louis, MO 63131, or St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, 1971 Dougherty Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO. 63122.
