Kathryn ‘Katie’ Sullivan May 8, 1963 - January 29, 2023

Kathryn ‘Katie’ Crutsinger Sullivan

Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Katie passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born on May 8, 1963 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert and Mary Lou ‘Angie’ Crutsinger, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She married Daniel J. Sullivan of St. Louis and was the love of his life and best friend during 38 years of marriage.  Katie was the most wonderful mother.  She leaves behind, Caroline (Robert) Rapone, Dan (Caroline) Sullivan, and Bob Sullivan.  Known to them as “Honey,” she adored her grandchildren; Lucy & Michael Rapone, Daniel “Tee” & Lily Sullivan.  Honey was their favorite person.  She is the dear sister to the late Cary (Dan) Renz, and Rusty (Beth) Crutsinger and was a loving, faithful friend to many.  She selflessly and energetically volunteered for many charities including Friends of Birthright.  Katie tackled her battle with cancer with grace, humility, humor and her beautiful smile, for which she will always be remembered.

    Caroline & Sullivan family,
I’m really sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She was always really kind to me and welcoming during my high school sleepovers at your place and trips to the Ozarks. She was such a lovely person! I’ll be thinking of you and sending warm thoughts from NC.
