Margaret ‘Peg’ Ressel
85, passed away on Saturday July 25, 2020. Loving mother of Kathy (Gary) Hood, Bill Ressel and Mike (Diane) Ressel. Cherished grandmother of Maggie Hood, Amanda and Joe Ressel and “adopted” Connor Freeman. She will be missed by all including her longtime friend of 60 years, Joyce Frank.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Katherine Donovan and brother Fr. William Donovan.
One of Peg’s favorite pastimes was hosting holiday meals for family and friends, with St. Patrick’s Day being her favorite. She would often greet those attending at the door, decked out in her favorite St. Pat’s attire. She was a role model for us all attending Mass daily until her recent health issues. She especially liked going out to breakfast after Mass with friends and family.
Services: Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 29 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 11910 Eddie & Park Road, St. Louis, MO 63126 at 10 a.m. PLEASE VISIT THE PARISH WEBSITE https://stjustinmartyr.org/186227/margaret-peg-ressel-funeral-rsvp/ BY 6:00 PM TUESDAY TO MAKE AN ONLINE RESERVATION.
