To Marion’s family. I first met Marion in 1962 when we were both headed to Germany to teach for the Department of Defense. I was a young and very inexperienced traveler and I was blessed to end up in Mannheim as Marion’s suite-mate. We became lifelong friends from that day forward. We taught a few hundred miles from one another when we went to Japan. We took fabulous trips together even after we returned to the United States. She was a wonderful person and I will be forever grateful for her friendship. My sincere condolences to her family. Sue
