Raymond Baudendistel December 20, 1966 - January 13, 2024

Raymond John Baudendistel

57, Fortified with the Sacraments of the Catholic Church, departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in St. Louis.  He was born December 20, 1966 to Rosalie and the late Richard Baudendistel.  Ray is survived by his siblings Joseph (Donna), Kurt, Beth (the late Brian) McMahon, Meg (Tom) Menke, Mark, Amy (Jeff) Marvin, Ted (Jill) and Paul (Milena); and beloved nephews and nieces.

Ray graduated from St. Louis University High School and attended Saint Louis University.  He spent most of his adult years working in hospitality, and enjoyed volunteering with differently-abled people.  Ray loved sports, whether it was playing soccer or softball, teaching swimming, or watching nephews and nieces in all of their sports, or following professional teams.

Ray will be remembered for his enthusiasm for sports, especially when nephews, nieces, siblings or friends were playing.  Ray shared his practical wit, observations, and inside jokes with those closest to him.

Services:  Visitation and funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 27 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.  This will be followed by a gathering for lunch.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to American Diabetes Association (ADA) Camps, specifically Camp EDI.
