Regina Marie Southern
74, passed away after a short battle with cancer on September 15, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri in the company of her sons and daughters-in-law. She was born to Arthur and Wanda (Corlett) Southern in Washington, D.C., but spent the majority of her life in Sacramento, CA as a teacher and speech therapist.
She is survived by her brother, Robert and his wife, Sally, her sons, Chris and Joel Bittle, her daughters-in-law, Tracy (Christenson) and Megan (Piazza), and grandchildren Alexandra, Kyle, Clara, Katherine, Cecilia, and Adam and his wife, Anna.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dennis.
She will be remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren, her friendships, her warmth, her laugh, and her infectious smile.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16th at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA at 10 a.m. Reception to follow.
