My apologies to the family as I am a ‘bit’ late in expressing my condolences. My family lived down the street from Richard. We too were from the Little Flower Church community. Richard Doerr was one of the nicest people that my brothers and I ever met. We have nothing but positive memories of interacting with him. In one of my latest visits (2017-2018) to the neighborhood, Rich invited me into his home to reminisce about growing up on Boland St. God’s blessings to Rich’s family.
