Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the age of 88. Beloved husband for 64 years of Mary Jo Proost (nee McDonald); beloved father of Tim Proost, Mary Beth Proost, Tom Proost (Elizabeth), and Dan Proost (Molly); beloved grandfather of Will, Anna Maria, Sam, Sophia, George, Vincent, Hank, Evan, Cassidy, and Ryan. With a humble spirit, remarkable mind, and faith, he led with integrity, mentored with kindness, gave with an open heart, and was cherished by all whose lives he touched.

Services:  Visitation and funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, at St. Anselm at the Abbey, 530 South Mason Road, Creve Coeur.  Visitation at 10:00 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Internment private.  In Lieu of flowers, contributions the charity of your choice appreciated.
