Rosemary Barron was born and raised in St. Louis by her loving parents, Joseph P. Houlihan and Catherine Dundon Houlihan.  One of ten children, Roe grew up on a farm on Mosley Road in Creve Coeur, which was a rural community at the time.  Their home was also the site of the family business, Houlihan Nusery Company.  Roe received her education at St. Monica Catholic School, St. Joseph’s Academy,  and Fontbonne College.  God, prayer, and family were central to her life, and she loved and lived her Catholic faith on a daily basis.  She loved everyone, and told of her love for them.  Kindness and purity of heart defined Roe’s character, and she was always there to help and pray for those in need.  Rest in peace, Mom, in the eternal radiance of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
