Sanok Paik (Peggy) Kim passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Keun Young Kim, mother of Kenneth (spouse Johanna) Kim of Newport Beach, CA and Pauline Kim (spouse Philip Lee) of St. Louis and grandmother of Kellee, Rocket, Megan and Nelson Kim, and Jocelyn and Nicholas Lee.
Sanok Kim was a librarian at Olin Library at Washington University for 29 years. She received a MS in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a MA in Romance languages from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a BA from Clark University.
Memorial service on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 5 pm at Salem United Methodist Church, 1200 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO. Visitation prior to service at 4-5 pm. Private services with family to follow in Newport Beach, CA.
