Sharron Virginia Ross “Share”
of St. Louis, Missouri died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on December 30, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born in Bedford, Indiana to adoring parents, John Preston Ross and Eileen Bentley Ross. Share was predeceased by her parents and her eight siblings. She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her dear nieces and nephews, as well as many treasured friends.
Beloved life partner of fifty-one years to Edith C. Varley, Share will be forever missed and lovingly remembered. She was deeply cherished by the entire Varley family, always acting as a trusted confidant, truth-teller and generous soul. Share was honored to call Elizabeth Grace (Poppy) Varley her goddaughter.
After a long and varied career in financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing Share turned her attention to the curation of Folk Art, working with Galerie Bonheur for over ten years. Visits to Russia, France, Switzerland, Great Britain and China spoke to her love of adventure and travel. She was a gifted master of needlepoint; she deftly created belts, pillows and a legion of intricate Christmas ornaments, many of them as gifts, over the years.
Those who knew Share will forever remember with love her warmth, sense of humor, generosity, strength, penchant for champagne and love of Edie.
Services: Visitation and funeral Mass January 3, 2026, Visitation at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 530 South Mason Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri. Holy Mass to follow visitation at 10:30 a.m. Private burial to follow.
