Theresa Reynolds August 14, 1934 - September 12, 2023

Theresa M. Reynolds

(nee Ressel), Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Theresa is survived by her brother Fred (Linda) Ressel of St. Charles, MO as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by parents Mose and Iva Ressel and her brothers Charles, Ralph, Paul, Donald, and Wallace Ressel.

Theresa worked 42 years for American Airlines as a ticket agent which helped fuel her love of travel.  This allowed her to travel to all different locations around the world but also to help others succeed with their travel plans.  There weren’t many people she couldn’t make friends with.  Her story telling was legendary among the family.  After her retirement and move to Cape Girardeau, she was a volunteer at the gift shop at St. Francis Hospital and later gave tours at Old St. Vincent’s Catholic Church.  Her greatest joys came from being of service to others, from her work in the airline business to her volunteering in retirement.

Services:  A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 18 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, MO at 10 a.m. with burial immediately following. Theresa will be missed and the family is grateful for all the condolences.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Old St. Vincent’s Chapel, 615 William St. Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 (memo: In memory of Theresa Reynolds).
