William Alfred Schneider
Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a friend to many passed peacefully in his sleep the morning of August 28th, 2021 at the age of 95. A long term and very proud St. Louisan, he was a WWII US Navy Veteran, retired attorney for several Chicago and St. Louis corporations including /30 years with Monsanto Corp. and alumnus of John Boroughs, Northwestern University and Washington University School of Law. He also served as the Mayor of Town and Country. He was the loving husband to Rosemary Fischer Schneider (d. 2012), son of his late parents William Walter Schneider and Mary Lynch Schneider and brother, Alfred Schneider. He is survived by his 5 daughters: Susan Schneider-Criezis (m. Demetrios Criezis) of Douglas, MI; Therese Huffman (m. Ron Huffman) of Atlanta, GA; Christine Knowlton of Peekskille, NY; Karen Schneider (m. Louis Perretta) of Gig Harbor, WA; and Katie Larson (m. Mark Larson) of Santa Cruz, CA and many granchildren, great-granchildren, extended family and friends.
