Betty M Kemp, age 95, passed away on February 3, 2026; daughter of the late William C Stamos and Emma (Brokelmeyer); beloved wife of Theodore E Kemp (Deceased); caring sister to William (Bill) Stamos (deceased); loving mother of Mary K Hampton (Gerald), Charles T Kemp (Debra), Arthur E Kemp (Mickey) and David W Kemp (Deceased); adored grandmother of Shon I McLain, Michelle K Papin (Clint) and Kelly L Mittendorf (John); and three great grandchildren, Katherine J McLain, Michael A McLain and Emma K Papin.

Betty’s Christian faith was very important to her. She was an active volunteer for her church in Haines City, FL and as a Pink Lady at Dukes Hospital in Peru, IN. She was an awesome cook (especially her Greek dishes) a very talented seamstress and loved oil painting.  She was an avid reader, loved to play cards and was a good Scrabble player (usually winning). Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends and with her sweet tooth, she loved any and all desserts!

Services:  A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 12-4 PM at Rich & Charlie’s restaurant, 9942 Watson Road, Crestwood, MO 63126.

If desired, donations may be made in Betty’s honor to St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 500 Meramec Blvd, Eureka, MO 63025.
