Betty M Kemp
age 95, passed away on February 3, 2026; daughter of William C Stamos and Emma (Brokelmeyer); beloved wife of Theodore E Kemp (Deceased); loving Mother of Mary K Hampton (Gerald), Charles E Kemp (Debra), Arthur E Kemp (Mickey Wright) and David W Kemp (Deceased); adored grandmother of Shon McLain, Michelle Papin (Clint) and Kelly Mittendorf (John); and three great grandchildren, Katherine J McLain, Michael A McLain and Emma K Papin.
Betty’s Christian faith was very important to her and she was a very active volunteer at her church for many years. She was an incredible cook whose Greek dishes were a highlight of the family, a very talented seamstress and loved oil painting. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. She loved to play cards and was a good Scrabble player and with her sweet tooth, she loved the desserts at family meals.
Betty was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed.
Services: A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
