Peter M. Blake, Deacon Dan Skillman, and many Our Lady of Sorrows parishioners.

Frances ‘Aunt Fran’ Brown will long be remembered by so many as a loving surrogate mom to so many.  She served Deaconess Hospital as a nurse for 30 years, was an avid bowler, Cardinals baseball and Notre Dame football fan, and occasionally enjoyed her drink of choice, Tanqueray and tonic.   We will miss her quick wit and uncompromising faith. Her passion was truly her family and her church, as a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows, most of her life attending Mass daily.  She was a former member of the OLS Women’s Guild, a Member of the Legion of Mary, and a Eucharistic Adoration participant.

Services:  Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 22 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109.  Visitation at 10 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Sorrows Endowment Fund, or a charity of your choice, in Frances’ name, is appreciated.
