Helen Miller September 24, 1924 - February 9, 2024

Helen Alice Miller

(nee Walsh) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel T. Miller, dear mother of Suzy (Rick) Samson, Colleen “Fire” (John) Anstey, Mary Bopsy, Dan “Booney” (Linda), Tim (Therese), Pat (Joan), and Annie (the late Dave) Rowan, beloved grandmother of 17, great-grandmother of 22, dear sister of the late Margie, George, Nancy, Michael, and Tim, dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

With a never-ending smile and a song in her heart, a fun-loving spirit flowed from Helen each day.  The “life of the party”, Helen’s joy and love of family rang truest when she surrounded herself with children; kids were drawn to Mimi’s playful energy and pure heart.  A daily communicant with a devotion to Our Lord, Jesus, a strong Catholic faith led Helen through each and every day of her extraordinary 99 years.

The Slay's from Flora Place says

On behalf of the family of the late Anthony & Eileen (nee Forkan) Slay, from the ole neighborhood where our families were once neighbors on Flora Place, parishioners together at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, fellow classmates at SMOS Grade School and forever friends all the while, please accept our most heartfelt sympathy and know that we share in your sorrow and grieve for your loss.

So many good and fond memories of Mrs. Miller, her late husband and of all her children too. Thank you for those memories. And it’s not so much the “things” we remember, but more how she made us feel. Mrs. Miller will forever be remembered in our daily prayers, as is Mr. Miller.
