Lynn Smallwood September 22, 1966 - September 8, 2018

Lynn Smallwood
It is with great sadness, but heavenly joy that the family of Lynn Smallwood announce her passing on September 8, 2018 after battling ovarian cancer for the last 4 years.  Lynn would have celebrated her 52nd birthday September 22, 2018.

Lynn will always be remembered by her husband of 21 years, Robert J. Smallwood.  She will also be remembered by her parents Graham and Rosemary Fayers as well as her Sister, Kerry Pitcher and Brother-in-law Sean Pitcher.  Her niece and nephew, Lauren and Ryan, will forever hold the happiest of memories of their Aunt Lynn.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Lynn’s new life will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 4450 Edmundson Road, St. Louis MO 63134.

Lynn’s burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis MO 63125 at 11:15 a.m. followed by a luncheon at 12:00 p.m. at The Pavillion at Lemay, 305 Gregg Road, Lemay MO 63125. All are welcomed and encouraged to join the luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in honor of Lynn to St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.  Lynn was very active with this wonderful organization. Visit their website https://www.sloca.org/support-us/donate to contribute in Lynn’s honor.

May one of the greatest givers of love and happiness be forever remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rob, I am so sorry for your lost. Lynn was such a wonderful person and I so loved my time at Lakenheath as she was a big part of it. My heart breaks for you, she was way to young to leave this Earth. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family. God Bless.
