Robyn Gross December 2, 1957 - September 7, 2018

Robyn Brainerd Gross

Departed this life to go to her special place in heaven on her own terms at the age of 60 on Friday, September 7, 2018.  Beloved wife of 39 years to Gary M. Gross; adoring mother of Kaitlin (Jonathan) King, Joshua Gross, and Christine Gross (Matthew Kammerer); loving MeeMaw to Ava Gross-Kammerer, Baby Gross-Kammerer, Maxwell King, and Samuel King; dear sister of Shirley (Fred) Casillas, Tana Marie Wilke, Kathy Nehring, and the late Robert Wayne Brainerd; and caring aunt, niece, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.

Robyn was the acting Club Registrar and Tournament Director for SportingSTL Soccer Club.  She spent more than 20 years working with St. Louis area youth soccer players.  She was a longtime volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, providing her expertise as a camp director, troop leader, and cookie sale volunteer.  She was a force to be reckoned with but would lend a hand whenever and wherever needed.

Robyn’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 12:00-3:30pm in O’Brien Hall at St. Richard Church, 11223 Schuetz Road, St. Louis, MO 63146.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Louis Crisis Nursery (crisisnurserykids.org) or a GoFundMe Page setup by SportingSTL to assist the family during this difficult time (www.gofundme.com/robyn-brainerd-gross).
