Marguerite “Maugie” R. Toler (nee Renard), 1 month shy of turning 102, was born August 20, 1916 in St Louis, MO & died July 16, 2018 in her home in Brentwood, MO. She was the middle child of Albert & Melanie Renard. She was the last to survive of their 7 children.
Maugie was a devoted wife to John V. Toler for 39 years. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was a wonderful mother to Ellen, Carl (Mary), and Denis (Sue) Toler, all from St Louis, MO and Jane (Bob) Haas of Quincy, IL; a dear grandmother to 7, and a great-grandmother to 10.
Maugie was an accomplished pianist and she loved to travel. She enjoyed sports, both as a participant (bowling & tennis) and as a spectator (Cardinal’s Baseball).
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 20, at 10:00 am at St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at the corner of Brentwood Blvd. & Manchester Road in Brentwood, Mo. Visitation will take place at St Mary Magdalen during the hour preceding the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Chapter, 9370 Olive Blvd., St Louis, MO. 63132
Visitation and funeral Mass will be held Fri. July 20 at St. Mary Magdelen Catholic Church, 2618 South Brentwood Blvd. at Manchester Rd. Visitation at 9 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10 a.m.
