Beloved wife of the late George Knollmeyer. She is survived by her children Mary, George, Mike, Ed, and Greg Knollmeyer, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her brother Urban Hubert.
Born in 1935 in Detroit, Mary graduated from Maryville college and worked as teacher briefly before marrying George Knollmeyer in 1958. Together they had six children. They moved to Saint Louis in 1975 where Mary developed ties in the local Catholic Community. Mary was a devout Catholic as well as a Marian Catechist, a third order Carmelite, president of our Blessed Mother’s Rosary and Scapular Program, and Dame of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. October 8, 2025 at 6:55 amI met Mary years ago when she came to St. Martin of Tours to teach my 2nd graders how to make a rosary. I still have some of those rosaries. She was truly a blessing to me.
I will be praying for your family.
God Bless
