Rosemary Clark December 17, 1925 - January 2, 2021

Rosemary Laura Clark

(nee Strubel) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at the age of 95 of natural causes. Beloved wife of the late Robert Clark, the love of her life; dear sweet mother of Gary Clark (Linda), Cindy Hertlein (Jonathan), Jim Clark and Cathy Clark. Proud grandmother of Tim, Morgan, Sarah, Annie, Margaret, Jimmy, David, Emily and Jonny. Great grandmother of Finnley, Ethan, Murphy, Maine, Robert, Henry and Christopher.

Rosemary attended St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic elementary school and graduated from Visitation High School. She met her husband Robert on vacation in Michigan and they married in 1954. Their 57 year loving marriage was a model for their children and grandchildren. Rosemary was a dedicated wife, mother, scout and den leader, and devoted daughter and sister to her parents and brother Don.

She enjoyed travels around the world, tennis, golf, bridge, reading, music, and dancing. Rosemary was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary each day (as did prior generations of her family) as part of her Marian daily devotional. She lived life to the fullest and her positive caring attitude was an inspiration to all.

Gary – I was saddened to read of your mom’s passing. As you know, she was a friend of my parents while at St. Clement, and was part of their “crowd” as my mother called it. I had many interactions with her and found her to always be jovial and very nice to me and my wife. Actually, we spent part of a vacation in Martinique with your folks, having booked the same charter trip 35 or so years ago. I know that we have not seen each other for many years since our basketball days, but apart from the current sadness, I hope that you are doing well. Take care and extend my condolences to your family.
