Shirley Ann Clough
Died Saturday, December 10, 2022, beloved teacher, caring wife, and loving mother of four children Terry, Phyllis, Kevin, and Shelagh. Shirley’s dedication for teaching was evident in the more than 20 years’ worth of students at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School. Her passion for learning with a focus on the American Civil War saw her achieve a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree from Webster University. She is survived by multiple brothers, her sister, nieces and nephews, her husband of 64 years, George, and her two surviving children Kevin & Shelagh, grandson Sean, great grandchild Kailey, and daughter-in-law Cathy.
Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at on Friday, January 20 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 676 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119 at 11:30 a.m. Shirley was interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary, Queen of Peace parish, to support the school’s work.
