Thomas Paul Archambault
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 20th, 2026 at De Greeff Hospice House. He was 93 years old. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Hunter Archambault and was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Murphy Archambault. He also leaves behind his daughters, Amie Hemenway (William) and Ann Buck (Chris Weinke), his son, Thomas J. Archambault, and granddaughters, Mimi Hemenway Harrington (Alex), Natalie Buck Ciapciak (Robert) and Trudy Kathleen Buck. He also is survived by his brother Robert Joseph Archambault (Patricia, deceased) of Arcadia, MO and his sister, Mary Kay Archambault Hayes (George, deceased).
Born in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1933, Thomas attended Chaminade College Preparatory School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also served his country in the US Army. He subsequently turned his love of farming into a profession serving the American farmer as an insurance agent with John Hancock.
Loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Tom will be missed by many. The family wishes to thank the exceptional, caring staff of Mercy Hospice and the DeGreeff Hospice House.
Services: Visitation and Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 401 S. Lindbergh Blvd., Creve Coeur, MO 63131. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Leukemia Foundation or Mercy Hospice St. Louis De Greeff Hospice House.
